Your roof rack needs to be rated to carry 187 lb while the car is moving, which is called the dynamic load rating, and most factory racks are not. Check yours before you order. Ladder and mounting brackets are included, and it carries a two-year structural warranty.
How do I set up the tent once I reach my destination?
The shell lifts at an angle from the back and the ladder folds down with it. Mounting to the car is a one-time job with the included brackets. After that, arriving and opening it is a matter of a minute.
What can I expect regarding shipping and delivery?
This one ships by freight carrier with a scheduled delivery appointment, not by parcel. You get tracking by email as soon as it ships. Damage on arrival has to be reported within 48 hours.
Can I leave it on the car between trips?
Yes, as long as your roof rack is rated to carry it while driving. It stays on the roof between weekends, so there is nothing to load the night before and nothing to unload when you get home. That is most of the time you used to spend getting ready.
